Outdoor Visitation Guidelines
Updated: Jun 14
We thank all of you who came to visit your loved ones yesterday despite being the hottest day of the year so far! We thought it went well for our first time experiencing this. but did learn a few things, so we just wanted to update you. We have decided to not use one of the tables for visits as it is too far between the resident and their visitor and difficult for hearing and not very comfortable. So we will drop from having 6 visits each time slot to 5.
Please remember to NOT enter the main building. Visitors will enter at the patio outside entrance. There will be a station there where you will sign in and be screened and then proceed to your visit.
If visitors are bringing items for your loved one, we will be happy to take them back to their apartment. There will be no food or beverage allowed during visitations except for the bottled water that we will provide. Visitors may bring food and beverage for the resident, but we will need to take it to their apartment for them to have after the visit.
Also no pets will be allowed.
Visitors MUST wear your mask while visiting. We have guidelines from the State that we must follow. We encourage our residents to wear them, but we cannot force them too.
Visitors must provide your own mask or you will not be able to visit.
Remember ... these visits are weather permitting©. If weather looks or sounds threatening, don't hesitate to call before coming.
Thank you so much for your cooperation. We want to make these visits as comfortable for everyone as possible. We will keep you updated as changes occur. You may also check our website www.feridean.com for updates. I may not email weekly updates, but will try to post something weekly on our website.
Stay safe but enjoy Summer!
